Day 90 – Life at Basketful
“No one is born a great cook, one learns by doing.” – Julia Child
Over the past 15 years we’ve spent a lot of time building and integrating technology solutions for a large food manufacturer. We’ve lead teams building major recipe websites, internal recipe systems, food taxonomy systems, eCommerce systems, sales systems, product information systems, and big data solutions. We’ve made mistakes in all of them, and we remember our mistakes very clearly. Basketful is built on past-mistakes and hard-won insights about food, grocery, recipes, meal-planning, software, technology, people, teams, organizations, and business processes. The difficult challenges ahead of us look more like familiar debate partners than dark clouds.
But we know most of you didn’t come here to read about us or our history. Basketful is about the problems and the passions we share with you. We want to spend less time trying to find elusive items in the grocery store. We want to have more time for cooking and baking. We want to know we can make new recipes because Basketful found all the ingredients at the store for us. We want to make better food for our family, or help out in ways we haven’t before. We want to be a little more creative, and a little more resourceful. Tell us what you want from online grocery below, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
