Day 90 – Life at Basketful

– Julia Child

It’s Day 90 at Basketful. Our friends ask what we do all day. We fill up whiteboards with sketches and improvement ideas. We prototype a lot of ideas, then throw away most of them. We read a lot about the state of eCommerce It’s not uncommon for us to design a variation of our logo, tweak some CSS, find a recipe for Thanksgiving, modify our Kubernetes configuration, discuss the French revolution, upgrade our Jenga Tower of Javascript (node dependencies), argue whether Adele or Lionel Richie’s “Hello” has greater historical significance (Richie’s), and load a few hundred thousand revised data points. We have sit/stand desks from Ikea (that you have to crank), and some cheap office chairs. We mostly make our lunches at home and bring them to work.

But we know most of you didn’t come here to read about us or our history. Basketful is about the problems and the passions we share with you. We want to spend less time trying to find elusive items in the grocery store. We want to have more time for cooking and baking. We want to know we can make new recipes because Basketful found all the ingredients at the store for us. We want to make better food for our family, or help out in ways we haven’t before. We want to be a little more creative, and a little more resourceful. Tell us what you want from online grocery below, or email us at info@basketful.co
